Medicana International Izmir Hospital Printed Stretch Ceiling

Project overview

In the lobby, waiting and corridor areas of Medicana International Izmir Hospital, we installed a 497 m² honeycomb-patterned printed stretch ceiling designed by Zoom Design. The honeycomb pattern, diffusing backlighting evenly, was engineered as a repeating identity surface throughout the hospital — the same pattern language was maintained from the square panels of the multi-storey atrium void down to the main corridors. The hygienic, seamless, maintenance-free surface was matched to the operational needs of a healthcare facility with heavy patient and visitor traffic.
