Project overview
In the double-height main entrance lobby of Acıbadem Izmir Kent Hospital, we installed 21 giant stretch ceiling light fixtures that define the space's architectural identity. The interconnected, wave-form fixtures were built with a total of 1,100 linear metres of stretch ceiling surface and an 8,000-metre LED lighting infrastructure, running as a seamless, source-free line of light the length of the lobby. A fixture composition at this scale, well beyond standard ceiling forms, required high-precision moulding and installation coordination on site.
